    <title>Christmas Fayre</title>
<description>The PTA and Staff wish to say, &quot;a huge thank you&quot; to all the pupils and parents that supported our new Christmas Fayre. The atmosphere in the hall was buzzing and Santa worked hard to ensure all the pupils were happy.

Friday 2nd December saw the first of our Christmas Fayres, Mrs Allatt managed to raise approximately £123.00 on her chocolate tombola alone. Altogether we raise around £600 which will be used to purchase the fun extras for our children during this festive season. We will soon have enough money to purchase a large whiteboard and projector for our school hall too.

    <title>Governors Day</title>
<description>Friday 2nd December saw the first of many Governors Days. The Governors came in to participate in the daily life of our Longwood pupils. From Little Oaks Nursery through to Year 6 the Governors experienced a range of activities, school lunch, playtime and assemblies. Together staff, pupils and Governors worked hard to improve our learning throughout the day. The Staff, Pupils and Governors all agreed it was a worthy activity and the first of many opportunities to work together.
